E-mail: kbyamana"at"yahoo.com.)—Status, habitat, months of occurrence, and abundance ratings, of 116 species from observations during forest transects over 60 days, Jan-Jun 1996. 67 additions to the Irangi avifauna brings the number of species to c. 180. A map of the area, referred to, is missing.

Africa (Senegal Delta and Guinea coast), but in wildly fluctuating numbers up to c. 50,000.
